Since 2006 I have been providing geomechanical core logging services to SRK Consulting Inc. (Canada), Itasca Consulting Canada Inc., Andrieux & Associates Geomechanical Consultant (A2GC), Golder and Associates, Stantec Engineering, AMC Consultants, Glencore PLC , and Knight Piesold . I have participated in drilling programs across a range of commodities and geological settings, each having their own challenges be it extreme oxidation, variable IRS, micro defects, disking or high strength rock.
I’ve been trained to observe and collect whole core sampling for: Uniaxial Compressive Strength (UCS) tests, Brazilian, Triaxial, Tilt Testing and Direct Shear Testing
