About Me
With over 20 years of experience in the mineral exploration industry, I bring a deep and diverse background in geotechnical fieldwork across Canada’s Arctic territories, provincial regions, and Nevada’s urban mining zones. My career spans from greenfield to operating mine sites working along diamond drills primarily—totaling over 270,000 meters of lithological and geotechnical core logging.
I’ve worked extensively with Ni-Cu-PGE, BIFs, Li-Cs-Ta pegmatite, and Au-Cu porphyry deposits, conducting lithological logging, sampling, and rock mass characterization. My technical expertise includes UCS, triaxial, tilt-test, direct shear, Brazilian whole core sampling, point load testing and Schmidt hammer data collection.
I’ve led channel sampling programs in remote Arctic regions and managed multi-drill operations, including a 12-month orientation drilling program with SRK Consulting Ltd. in Sudbury. This involved field management of three diamond drills, geotechnical core logging, PLTs, whole core sampling, and detailed reporting.
Throughout my career, I’ve served as a liaison to drilling companies, prioritizing safety and productivity in all seasons. My early training with global mining producers laid the foundation for industry best practices and shaped my approach to exploration and resource development.
